Day 1: Arrival Hue (D, G)
Arriving at Phu Bai airport in Hue, you’ll be met by our guide and driven to your hotel. After check in at the hotel, you’ll visit the Imperial Citadel of Hue and the Dong Ba market. In the evening, you’ll sit down for dinner at a garden house. You’ll spend the night in Hue.
Day 2: Hue (B, L, G)
In the morning, you’ll be met by our guide and enjoy a short dragon-boat ride on the Huong Giang (Perfume River) to Thien Mu Pagoda and the adjacent Buddhist monastery. From there, you’ll travel by boat to the magnificent tomb of Emperor Minh Mang and return to Hue by car. In the afternoon you’ll visit a garden house. The present owner, a famous Hue historian, will welcome you and provide an introduction to his royal family history, Hue’s traditions and customs. You’ll spend the night in Hue.
Day 3: Hue – Hoi An (B, G)
Leaving Hue, you will travel over the Hai Van Pass, a beautiful scenic journey between Hue and Da Nang. Up on arrival Da Nang, you will visit the open-air Cham Museum which houses are the excellent collection of relics from this period. A stop will be made at Da NangBeach. In the afternoon, you will take a walking tour of the delightful town of Hoi An. Your hotel accommodation in Hoi An.
Day 4: Hoi An – My Son – Hoi An (B, G)
This morning’s excursion is to visit the ruins of My Son, an important religious center during the height of the Kingdom of Champa (7-10th century) and a UNESCO heritage site. You will be free in the afternoon.
Day 5: Hoi An free (B)
Time on your own.
Day 6: Hoi An – Da Nang Departure (B, DP)
You’ll be free until your car and driver arrive to take you to Da Nang airport for your departure flight.
